Controlled depth fishing, also known as donwrigging, trolling long-lining or just boat fishing, is a technique enjoyed by many, yet others say it is boring and not really fishing.
The naysayers complain that the boat catches the fish and the mate, or person running the back sets the hook and you just reel it in. Well if that is how you feel, you haven't spent any time on the High Adventure.
I run a fun, easy, hands on, fast paced charter operation and I encourage client participation. You want to grab the rod, no problem, you want to learn how to set lines, run riggers and learn what makes a trolling rig tick, well climb aboard.
Hell you can even net your buddy's fish, if he let's you!
My Penn Yan will splash into the water in late April and I will be on it until early September.
Give me shout, we will lock in a day or two and perhaps you to will be proud to call yourself a Lake Ontario troller! www.highadventurefishing.com
