My fishing season in Pine Island Sound is coming to an end. I have about a week to go and it will back to the Salmon River, and mud season, chipping ice out of the guides and chasing Spring Steelhead through the rapids. I love the warmth but miss the ironheads, so its off to the north I go. This has been another incredible season for Shelley and I. Although the red tide and toxic flows from Lake Okeechobee did in fact kill many fish, are local waters did well and aside from the loss of our trout we pounded on Snook, Reds, Snapper, Sheepshead and Jacks all winter. We had more cold fronts in late February and March then we needed, but we got by and stayed on the fish. Every year gets busier down here and I hoping to stretch my season into early April in 2020. Just like my lake and river trips in NY, I suggest you lock in your days for fishing down here as soon as you can. I am blessed with great clients, warm weather, killer fishing and a fabulous wife/ partner and dates are going fast. Anytime you want to talk fishing, just give me a shout.
See you on the water-Somewhere!
God Bless! Troy

Lake Ontario is giving up large numbers of plump brown trout and hard fighting chrome Chinooks in numbers we have not seen in a long time. While last year was nothing short of banner, this season is shaping up to be even better.
The bite is Red Hot and you really should make plans to get here.
I have May 25, 29, 30, 31 June 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 open.
Get on the phone and lets hook up.
January was brutal by Florida standards but February has been the exact opposite and March looks to be stellar! The water temp in Pine Island Sound is in the 70's and that means one thing. A hot bite! If you want in on this great action give us a shout, I have openings up until the end of March when I return to the north country to chase Spring steelhead. www.highadvetnurefishing.com 315-243-2389
Spring is not far away and that means near shore brown trout in Lake Ontario's Eastern basin. The boat will be in the water and ready to go as soon as the ice is out. Make your plans now for some great action. Brings the kids, bring the grand kids. Bring friends bring the dog. It doesn't matter just don't miss out on the action. I have prime days left in May and June. Give us shout and don't miss out! 315-243-2389

We needed rain and we got it. Wish we could have spread it out a little more but it is what it is. The worst is over and everything will be on the drop over the next week. Every river, creek and ditch has fish in right now. Some have more than others and many need more time to recede until they will be righteous.
Other small tribs are choked and on fire as I am typing. Do some scouting, don't crowd other anglers and fish for them don't snag, they do bite! Eggs sacs, beads, soft eggs and egg pattern flies are doing the damage. Color depends on water clarity.
If you want in on a driftboat trip this year I have November 10, 27 and December 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 open. All good days, so let's hook up.
Trophy fish like this Atlantic Salmon caught today are waiting for you.
Can you say Epic!
Lake Ontario Salmon fishing is off the charts and the best is yet to come. The lake is on fire and as the season progresses more and more kings will be heading east and staging in front of the Oswego and Salmon Rivers.
There is still time to get it on the action. Bring the family, bring some friends, bring yourself, but get a day in the book before they are all gone.
I presently have August 10, 22, 29, 31 in the morning and August 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 25, 29 in the afternoon. All prime days.
If you haven't tangled with a big king this is the year to do it.
Give us a shout 315-243-2389
Kings and More Kings! They are here and they are biting. Despite some high winds and a few lost trips the days we get out on the water have been exceptional. Kings in all sizes are entertaining anglers across the shoreline.
The largest concentration of fish seems to be between Sodus Bay and Oswego in 150 to 300 FOW. Or it could be up north between the pond and Southwick beach, or it could be west of the ducks in the shipping lanes, or perhaps the largest school hasn't even shown itself yet. What I am saying is that the salmon are everywhere and you should be here to catch them.
Don't wait for late August we have some days open over the next few weeks. July 25 and August 1, 2, 3, 7 and 9 are available.
Stay safe out there and Best Fishes! Troy
