We are into August and I am trying to wrap up the Fall issue of Lake Ontario Outdoors, stay on the fish and finish some summer house projects. If it wasn't for my incredible wife, Shelley Creasy, I would be a bigger mess then I already am. My nose is down and the next time I look up I will packing for Florida and chasing a few deer in December. That being said, I know there are people looking for days so the best way is to post them and first come first serve.
Here they are and they are going fast.

Thank you and Best fishes.
Wind and more wind. It comes from every direction, but east northeast is about the worst. The thermocline is way up and the fish are scattered. One day we manage a good catch and the next we take a few bites. Mother nature always is in charge and we just have to be patient and let her settle down. Stay tuned for better reports, it won't be long! www.highadventurefishing.com
Wrapped up ICAST Thursday night back and after a delayed flight I was back on the water Friday.
Put together some good catches even in tough conditions.
Wind has been brutal.
Check out Roxy in the photos, she is due in just 6 weeks and landed some great fish!
What a switch from the weekend.
Winds went away, the lake was flat and they wanted to play!
15 bites to land 11 including 4 skippys of which 3 we were able to return unharmed.
Two real nice Atlantic's one brown and some nice Chinooks
Big fin glo, glo green flies and spoons on NBK, Mongoose, Hawg wild, yellow killer and a few others did the deed
If the weather would only hold, we are on for a great 8 to 19 weeks of trolling.
I have July 20, 27, 29, 31 AM and July 20, 25, 26, 27, 29, 31 PM
It's time to go!!
Another beautiful day on the big pond
The am trip we lit them up pretty good.
The pm trip we worked hard to land three decent ones.
Plenty of bait around even though we are told there isn't any.
I see several year classes as well.
Spoons and flies are still the attention getters on the HA
Some fish in the ice but many out of temp chasing bait.
Looks to be a good month if conditions hold. www.highadventurefishing.com
One of my good luck crews we're on the boat today and luck was on our side.
We caught a variety of fish we caught quality fish and we caught a lot of fish.
It was a beautiful day on the big O with great people.
Thanks again Hiester and Ruth I'll see you in August.
Performed my first wedding today aboard the High Adventure
We had a perfect day for the ceremony.
Everything went well. Shelley made decorations for the boat and Karen reeled in her first king in her wedding dress.
I could do this all the time.
I am honored to have married them
Congratulations Chris and Karen!!
Hope the winds let us get out tomorrow.
High Adventure Sportfiahing
Great time today taking a bunch of active duty soldiers, veterans and their families fishing. I had two soldiers from Fort Drum and their sons with me and we had a banner morning.
Big thanks to Tom Burke and all the captains that make this possible.
Happy Fathers Day
Fishing on the big and little O has been up and down each day. On Lake Ontario Lake trout up to 16 pounds have been the norm fishing east and west of Oswego in 150 to 170 FOW. They are really deep and tough to fish if it is rough, but you can catch them.
Brown trout are really scattered from 20 to 100 FOW The temperature is all the same and you have to just work the bait and the current lines.
Riggers, lead cores, divers and flat lines are all working.
On Oneida Lake you kill the walleye today and struggle the next. 20 to 30 FOW with gold and perch sonars are the best bet there.
Great weather coming up for th weekend. Get out and enjoy the outdoors.
Stay safe, Troy
Some decent fishing over the last few days with a mix of Brown's, lake trout and a few rainbows and small kings mixed in. The early morning bite has been west of our Harbor in 5 to 30 FOW. Brons are hitting Michigan Stinger and Finger Lakes Tackle spoons in a variety of color. The salmon bite is hit or miss right now with most of the fish coming in 150 to 200 FOW just west of the river. Spoons, Atomik Flies and even cut bait are taking a variety of fish including some huge lake trout.
Walleye Fishing on Oneida lake has been decent as well.
Weather is awesome and I have Wednesday and Friday open.
