I know I have been slacking on reports but the seven days a week for months on end has definitely caught up with me.
It looks like the drought is over, the river and the creeks to the north are running high while the streams out west didn't get the rain and are still pretty low. As this water recedes look for fantastic fishing just about everywhere. There are still a lot of fresh salmon that entered the river in the last few days. Yesterday, as we fished the bottom end and watched the water rise there was lots and lots of fresh Kings going by us in the muddy water and occasional fin a splash or silhouette was all you could see but there was lots of them. We were seeing a few more trout each day and I am certain there will be a ton of them in the upper river within a few days. Other then the high water which many do not like,(not sure why) all looks good for next month. It is getting colder and the blue jeans and sneaker crowds will go away and the bridge traffic will be gone but the time is now to get serious and get fishing! I have December 7, 8, 12, 13 open if anyone wants it. www.highadventurefishing.com
