Larry Snoke and his 84 year old Brother Carol tag teamed this 33 pound behemouth!
They creeled 6 fish over 28 pounds with 4 fish over 30 pounds. My heaviest limit of the season.

Greetings,
I am home today thanks to the Gail winds from Hurricane Irene.
Seems like she has lost a lot of her punch but our hearts go out to those who suffered loss during the storm.
I am looking at the end of my 2011 lake season but it is not over yet. If you can sneak away and you want in on the best lake season in years I am going to book a few days I kept open since I have lost a few recently to wind.

September 9th AM & PM
Call me now as they will go fast.
As for the river, I had a cancellation on October 4th. That is all I have for salmon season.
If you want steelhead I still have November 3, 7, 14, 28, 29, 30.
I also have December 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
In case you did not hear Shelley and I will be heading south for the winter and I will resume steelhead fishing in March.
For those of you that just have to fish in the cold make sure you grab my December and March and April openings. If you have the need to fish the winter months, give me a shout and I will hook you up with a good guide. I apologize for any convenience.
Be rest assured that we are not leaving and I am not giving up my New York fishing business .We will simply be south for about 10 weeks. I do plan on running a boat down there and will keep everyone informed as things progress.
Rate Increase for 2012
As we know the cost of everything continues to rise and I have not increased my rates in a long, long time. That being said 2012 rates for the lake season will be increased to $560.00 for a six hour and $660 for an 8 hour. This is only a $15.00 per person increase based on a four person party and I hope you can all understand the need for this.

We also need to make sure that we have a current e-mail for everyone as we will be doing away with paper confirmations and we will confirm all trips via e-mail. Please make sure we have a current e-mail address if you want to stay on the mailing list.

Another limit plus catch!
Another banner day with some real quality fish. Flat water, sunny skies and they they just keep biting!
Well it is the start of the memorial day weekend but if you fished the Oswego area today, you were greeted with heavy rains a bitter NE wind and pea soup thick fog.
Not a pleasant morning but the fish seemed to love it and our items.
It was game on!!
Enjoy the holiday weekend and I will have a full update after it is over as I will be working the entire time.

My Spring steelhead season has ended!

Fishing is still off the charts but it is time to switch gears and head to the big pond.
I have days in May & June if you want to go and if you are stuck on river fishing just think in less than 16 weeks the kings will be running!

4/8/11 Finally it is game on. The last two days have been easy double figures. There are fish everywhere and they are hungry. It even looks like we may have a morning with no ise in the guides!! Perhaps there is a spring season after all!

Working hard picking away. Some days much better than others. Real busy weekend with bright sun, clear water and crowds. It was tough for some and good for others. Thank god for Mondays!!!!!!!!!!
I will be on the lake after May 10 and I have plenty of dates open for Spring Browns.
